Hello, Tom here
The man behind the curtain >

The ball started rolling because of a little nudge in the form of a hobby. What was once an interest has grown into a full blown operation, right out of my backyard. From birthday gifts to a venue at First Friday Lakeland, I've had the pleasure of moving up and out with this project.

We took a left where?
It all started relatively simple. I had a bit of an inspiration when an apple fell on my head. A wooden apple that is. I've been wood working for a long time (you can say that when you're old), but turning pens and pencils hadn't crossed my mind until I started hanging around the cool kids at Wood Workers Club.

With all of the cool kids turning pens, pencils, bowls and other odds and ends, I made a few friends and decided to get into pen turning. Instead of leaving it at a hobby, though, my daughter suggested to get into First Friday Lakeland, a monthly market, to sell a few of my pens.

I didn't expect the popularity my little booth would have. From the encouragement of my customers and family (as well as the fact that First Friday frequently gets rained out since it's Florida), I set up this website.

Only Time
will Tell
While I won't go into all of the trials and tribulations I've encountered along the way, I must say I've come a long way from where I began: from turning a few pens and pencils for family and friends, to setting up a booth at First Friday, and now, stretching my reach across the world with this new fangled website. As I continue to grow, so will the quality of work and delivery I give to you all following and purchasing.
Thank you for your interest and contribution to
